Your emails to your Members of Congress along with thousands of other child advocates’ has created the crucial momentum we needed for real health reform just when we needed it most! As you probably know, health care reform legislation is being drafted right now on Capitol Hill and we need to continue to be the voice for children.

With your help, we can fix our health care crisis with a uniquely American solution that provides all families the peace of mind that they will be able to afford the health care their child needs.

CDF has been working hard to make sure all children in America have access to quality, affordable health coverage. We’ve been meeting with key Members of Congress and the White House, organizing our grassroots activists across the country and developing ads and short videos to engage the public and pressure Congress.

Although securing health coverage for all of America’s children is currently CDF’s main focus, we also work every day to champion policies that will:

• lift children out of poverty;
• protect them from abuse and neglect; and
• ensure their access to quality education, and a moral and spiritual foundation.
