No matter how hard I try to stay away form this issue it keeps coming back to bite me in the back side. So let be for real. we know that one way or the other taxs dollars will be spent on abortion.

So lets  get the money back within a tax / or this health care fourm.

But first let me say I do not believe in killing a child even if it is un born. It is still life.

1st. Life or death for a woman.

We do feel that if a woman is to die because she is pregnate, so we believe in her right to live, so a proper forum of cost to pay back some of the money according to the income. It could be as little as $1.00 to $10.00 per month added to the tax forum in and for health care reform..

2nd.Victim of Rape.

According to law she is a victim of a crime so their should be no cost to her but pass cost to the one convicted in this matter. But if she wish to in good faith to allow this child life, then she is intitled to health care suppot and other help.

3rd.Ooops Im pregnant,

Oh hell.....you know what Im going to duck this one........Sealed because there are hundreds of ways to keep from getting pregnant, even through free hand out messures at health care offices.

Will the Senate Allow Taxpayer Funding of Abortion?
November 10, 2009 | Share with Friends

Dear Henry,

While the overall bill passed by the House of Representatives could be described as a massive intrusion into the economy and the private healthcare choices that President Obama wants to foist upon the American taxpayer, the vote to stop government funding of abortion in the House of Representatives shows the importance of the pro-life movement in the health care debate.

Rep. Bart Stupak (D-Mich.) was able to insert language into the bill that prohibits federal funding from paying for abortion, or paying the part of the cost of any plan that covers abortion.

But the fight is far from over.

Already groups like NARAL and Planned Parenthood have started lobbying Democratic Senators and the White House to strip the amendment from the bill.

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.), the Democrats' chief deputy whip in the House, said that she and other pro-abortion rights lawmakers would work to strip the amendment in conference after the upper chamber passes its bill. She said she is "confident" the Stupak language would be removed.

Left wing blogs are reporting that President Obama has reassured pro-abortion lawmakers that he will personally see that this language was taken out.

We cannot let that happen.

Sign our petition today. Let them know that you will not accept any plans that will use tax dollars to fund abortion.

As the Senate begins the process of bringing their bill to a vote we need to make one thing abundantly clear ... the majority of Americans do not want their tax dollars used to fund abortion.

The House listened and it is time for the Senate to do the same.

Please sign our petition letting the leadership in the Senate know that you insist that your tax dollars not be used to cover abortion and that health care legislation must explicitly exclude abortion coverage.

Sign our Petition. Tell the Senate, No Taxpayer Funding of Abortion

Sincerely,

Tony Perkins
President

Dear Mr. Massingale:

Thank you for contacting me regarding the health care reform process as it relates to abortion.

On October 13, I voted in the Finance Committee to send S. 1796, the America's Healthy Future Act of 2009, to the Senate floor for consideration. This bill must be merged with similar legislation passed earlier this year by the Health, Education, Labor, and Pension (HELP) Committee; the full Senate is expected to consider the merged legislation before the end of the year.

The Finance Committee's bill follows the precedent set by the Hyde Amendment, that no Federal funds shall be used to provide abortions except in the case of rape, incest, or to protect the life of the mother. No health insurance company would be required to cover abortions under the Finance Committee's bill. However, every State-based insurance exchange must offer at least one plan that does not cover abortions, and one plan that does.

I believe in a woman's constitutional right to choose and in reducing the number of abortions in America by encouraging adoption. The Finance Committee's bill represents a reasonable compromise, crafted in good faith by both sides. As the bill makes its way through the legislative process and is amended further, I will keep your views in mind.

Thank you again for taking the time to contact my office, and please do not hesitate to do so in the future.

Sincerely,
Senator Bill Nelson
